A confidential, holistic support programme to sustain the wellness and performance of CEOs and Senior Business Leaders
Against a backdrop of monumental change and the pressure to perform in the face of the unknown, permanent urgency, the expectation to be available 24/7 and the blurring of lines between work and home, leaders today face considerable challenges in staying focussed, sustaining optimal performance and not succumbing to the physical and psychological effects of stress.
And although the CEO is just a single individual, their influence is far-reaching. The decisions they make, the policies they create and the behaviours they model all influence the way others in the organisation behave.
From communicating the big-picture vision and inspiring others to ensuring organisational values are present in the day-to-day details, CEOs must be deliberate about their behaviours at every move to ensure they support the desired company culture, staff engagement and deliver on the strategic vision. However, establishing and maintaining exemplary behaviour can be hard, especially in today’s work context.
My CEO Thrive programme provides on-call holistic support to address these specific challenges. I combine my extensive real-life business and senior leadership experience with best practice neuroscience, developmental coaching and positive psychology to get the results you want.
I observe people very often have the knowledge surrounding best practice or an idea of how they want to lead and live, but they just don’t manage to do it or be it. Together, we focus on building your cognitive, social and emotional intelligence to give you the tools for lasting change, which allow you to be the leader (and person) you want to be!
My approach integrates mindfulness to build resilience, manage stress and support considered responses (and not impulsive reactions).
I create a safe and confidential space where they can download concerns and have conversations that are difficult, too strategic or too risky to have with colleagues; or potentially too intrusive in your personal relationships.
This is next generation executive coaching.
I take a partnership approach, where your success is my priority. I make it my business to bring about positive change, support new pathways and focus on results.
I “get in the trenches” with you and work collaboratively and discretely on real issues, through both regular coaching sessions (face to face and remote) and on-call support, which allows you to deal with the issues as they emerge and therefore reduce ruminating and keep you buoyant and anchored in your “executive brain.”
For coaching to be successful, the individual needs to have awareness and a desire to change, to do things differently. Without these elements, it is a waste of time and money. Through an open and honest application process, I will assess your commitment to doing things differently and will only work with individuals who show true commitment.
It might not be easy every day, but if you commit to doing the work, I will get you where you want to go. Your success is my number one priority.
I can’t begin to say how valuable Suzanne’s support has been to my performance. Her breadth of skills is hard to find. Being on call, she helps me work through issues as they arise. The mindfulness and sleeping work has helped me wake refreshed.
Suzanne has really helped me improve my performance and resilience by helping me reframe things and build empathy. She’s helped me get through really difficult times in our company.
Suzanne has been a valued partner for over two years. She understands the business and can pick up bits of work that are too confidential to share. She’s an amazing sounding board.
Suzanne is a respected executive coach who is passionate about human-centric, values-based leadership as well as a thought leader in the international arena of organisational culture transformation, talent development and employee wellbeing.
With formal training in International Business (University of Richmond, USA), Economics and Finance (Sciences Po, Paris), Coaching Psychology (University of Sydney), Self Leadership (University of Geneva) as well as being a certified mindfulness instructor, PEP (Personal Efficiency Programme, Steven Covey) facilitator and NLP practitioner, Suzanne has a unique blend of knowledge and cultural awareness.
She can get to the heart of what drives and inspires people as well as what limits them and prevents them from realising their fullest potential. She also understands the importance of the mind and the power of conscious choice to create a desired reality, as well as the merits of planning and working methodically towards a goal.
Having started her working life in an equity derivatives trading room in Paris (for Societe Generale), she went on to successfully build and turn around structured investment businesses in Europe, Lebanon, Egypt and Australia for SG, Westpac and CBA. So she gets it. She understands the pressures of working in highly competitive and complex environments.
Her career transition to coaching was motivated by a genuine desire to support the development of human-centric leadership as a sustainable solution to the chronically low levels of engagement and high levels of stress in today’s corporate world.
She also is a teacher at UTS Business School for executive education and leadership subjects. She is on the approved panel of coaches for the NSW government.
