Covid Support
The Covid pandemic has challenged many of us to the core as many things we have taken for granted have now changed or disappeared, at least temporarily. Psychology has demonstrated our stress levels are linked to the size of the gap between the number of things we worry about and our perceived ability to address or fix these worries. So stress levels can be pretty high today as we can worry a lot and feel powerless in many areas. However, as humans we’re incredibly resilient, which means we are able to bend, and not snap, like a tree in the wind. Research has shown that resilience is an innate human capacity that can be learned and developed in anyone. So, resilience is more than a skill – it’s an adaptation. I have designed two virtual (ZOOM) programmes to help you build resilience and a sense of control over your life, while allowing you to connect with like-minded individuals
LIVING WITH COURAGE
Using mindset coaching, I’ll set you up with the tools and daily rituals to help you reduce stress and create space for inner calm to live life with courage. Together we will explore how to –
- Increase calm by overcoming fear (Week 1)
- Manage your energy and develop self care (Week 2)
- Debunk limiting beliefs and access your strengths (Week 3)
- Be comfortable with being uncomfortable (Week 4)
NAVIGATING UNCERTAINTY WITH MINDFULNESS
Just as you can train your body, you can also train your mind. With time and practice, your brain structure changes to make you happier, more optimistic and solution-focused. Using mindfulness and mind-body practices, this gentle programme will help you “ground” and quiet the mind using meditation and self-care practices.
Suits beginner and intermediate levels.
Weekly group sessions, each Tuesday from 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm (Sydney time), over ZOOM or in person.
